In the diet, Mr. Johnson avoids fast and fried foods, but still enjoys his favorite burger and pizza occasionally.

Dwayne Johnson eats seven times a day. Most of the menus are starchy vegetables, fibrous carbs and protein. According to him, it helped him gain muscle and lose weight at the same time. This program certainly looks extreme, and one reason behind it is that he has a motto of “Pain and Gain” which makes him want to look like an ex-prisoner.

Menu 2: 2 cups steamed veggies, 12 oz. sweet potatoes and 8 oz. fish (cod)

Menu 3: 2 cups cream of wheat, 2 cups white rice and 8 oz. chicken

Menu 4: 1 cup steamed veggies, 2 cups white rice and 8 oz. fish (cod)

Menu 5: 1 cup green salad, 12 oz. sweet potatoes (baked) and 8 oz. beef

Menu 6: 1 cup green salad, 2 cups white rice, and 8 oz. fish (cod)

Menu 7: 1 tbsp. fish oil (before bed), 1-cup veggies, 10-egg omelet and 30 g. casein protein powder

Additional tips from The Rock:

1. Empty your fridge, so you do have no choice but your diet program

2. Prepare your meals for the next day to allow you to stick to the plan

3. Some Tupperware / food boxes will be very helpful
